The personality of a bird will largely depend on how you “parent” it but each breed is unique in more than just size. Some are friendly and tame while others are loud and active. Some sing pretty songs and others speak words and phrases.

Birdie babies start off like most other pets: they need lots of help eating and staying warm AND they have an appearance only a mother could love. BUT, it doesn’t take long for the cute-factor to kick-in.
Many of our birdie babies are hand-raised and hand-fed right here in our shop. We prefer hand-raising because it helps socialize them to humans which makes them a better companion!
